Lewis Moberly, a renowned brand design agency, has unveiled a sophisticated design for The 18, a new addition to The Glenrothes’ prestigious whisky portfolio.

Redefined Packaging for The Glenrothes’ 18-Year-Old Whisky

The 18-year-old single malt whisky is presented in a redesigned bottle with a taller, elegant profile and a straight neck to enhance pouring.

The packaging features a recyclable cylindrical canister, which opens with a twist to reveal the bottle inside. This structure, inspired by whisky casks and the natural contours of the Glenrothes Estate in Scotland, aligns with eco-conscious principles, using only paper, card, and pulp-based materials.

The design also integrates visual storytelling, including a rich purple base representing renewal and copper accents that pay homage to the distillation process. The label is adorned with handwritten tasting notes from The Glenrothes’ Master Whisky Maker, Laura Rampling, adding a personal touch to the luxurious presentation.

This project is a continuation of Lewis Moberly’s collaboration with The Glenrothes and follows the successful designs for The 25 and The 42. The packaging reflects the brand’s commitment to elegance, sustainability, and the celebration of craftsmanship.
