Ad/Vantage TrayWrap is Mondi’s paper alternative to plastic tray wrapping, a new secondary paper packaging solution for industrial and food/beverages wrapping, ideally brick-shaped packs on a tray. Ad/Vantage TrayWrap replaces the plastic shrink film that has previously been the industry standard. The solution uses Ad/Vantage StretchWrap, an uncoated kraft paper made from high-quality and responsibly sourced Nordic fibres. Ad/Vantage StretchWrap has outstanding stretch, excellent puncture resistance and exceptional tensile energy absorption, even in the low grammage of 70 gsm, which make it the ideal specialty kraft paper for this application. Its unique mechanical properties ensure that the contents are secure during handling, storage, transportation and protect the pack in terms of quality and shape, making it a reliable lightweight wrapping solution for transporting products with minimal material consumption. The solution is machine ready, compatible with Meurer’s Paper Hood Machine (PHM).
