In 2019, Houweling Group achieved three ISO certificates. Three years later, the certificates have been reissued and the ISO 26000 guideline is being worked on.
Recertification
As of January 2019, we have the following three ISO certificates:
• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
• ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety
The certificates are valid for three years. Annual monitoring audits check after one and two years whether we are still working according to the ISO standards. At the end of the third year, there is a recertification audit. In this audit, we have to prove once again that our working methods and management systems are worthy of the ISO standards. In January 2022, we proved that we can continue to carry the three ISO certificates.
“We are proud that the recertification also shows that we continue to make progress in our processes and quality. After all, an ISO certificate is not an end in itself, but a way to keep improving.” Erik Forsten, Manager QSHE Houweling Group
ISO 26000 guideline
As an organisation, we also want to improve our social responsibility and take it even more seriously. The international ISO 26000 guideline provides clear definitions and a delineation of corporate social responsibility (CSR), as well as guidance for further implementation within the organisation. In 2022, we are therefore working on the next steps in the guideline:
• achieving readiness throughout the organisation
• identifying stakeholders and their expectations
• translating policy into practice
• transparency in goals and feasibility
For safe keeping
We strive to achieve sustainable growth for future generations. Working in accordance with the above ISO certificates and guidelines safeguards our quality, environmental performance and the health and safety of our employees. In this way, we can work to protect products, plants and people. Now and in the future.
