OPRL is a not-for-profit organisation created to help consumers recycle more.
We support brands and retailers, as well as packaging manufacturers and suppliers, with expertise and guidance on recyclability so that they can determine the correct recycling label for their packaging. Helping consumers know what to do with packaging at the point of disposal and enabling our members to adhere to Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging (pEPR) legislation.
Independent research shows that 3 in 4 consumers recognise and act on our labels, which is why, in part our labels have been used as a basis for pEPR.

Our connections give us the opportunity to provide our members with the most up to date information which support our labels and gives them support on legislation requirements. We also represent our members in key industry discussions to ensure their voice is heard.
