Richard leads the MSQ/Sustain team, a communications agency with extensive experience and expertise in sustainability, climate, and purpose-driven brands. MSQ/Sustain’s mission is to create ideas that accelerate change, and help brands, businesses and NGOs deliver a positive impact through the power of brilliant communications.
After a career in advertising – being part of the problem – Richard decided 8 years ago to pivot his agency to focus only on accelerating solutions to the climate and nature crises. As a creative and a strategist, he has advised, worked with, and developed campaigns for many leading organisations – from the UN, WEF, UK Government, to Royal Mail, Carlsberg and Patagonia. The agency has been involved with every COP since Paris, and their work has helped influence policy, investment and commercial decisions around the world.
